| The Fan Resistor Circuit is a variable resistance which can be used to control the speed of the case fans.
You can change the resistance by moving a jumper which closes any one of the four pairs of adjacent pins on a 5-pin strip mounted on the Fan Resistor Circuit. Starting with the jumper on the two pins nearest to the Fan Connector, each time you move the jumper up one position the total resistance of the Fan Resistor circuit will increase, resulting in a small, but noticeable reduction in the speed of the case Fans.
