PaQ stands for “Powerful and Quiet”.Which says it all, really.We build the PaQ Quiet Computer Case, and we also supply complete PC systems using the PaQ Case. Most of these are Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) for use by musicians who really do need silent operation. The PaQ Case is designed to be as quiet as possible; but it also has excellent cooling, so you can use it to house a seriously quick machine. And it works – we have had AMD Dual-Core X2s plus Intel Core 2 Duo and Quad-Core machines in the PaQ Case, plus some Dual CPU systems, with up to 4GB RAM and a TerraByte of Disk Space. No problems! Sound On Sound magazine had a prototype back in April 2006.
